MedCases Academic Center


MedCases Academic Center provides a choice of seven curricula for medical students and residents, corresponding to the following specialties: OB/GYN, cardiology, family practice, internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, and oncology.

In each curriculum, multiple online patient case simulations are available. Each simulation is based on realistic clinical situations and supported by in-depth evidence and information. Residents and medical students act as the treating physician, compile a differential diagnosis, select laboratory and diagnostic tests, evaluate the results of those tests, make a final diagnosis, and determine a treatment plan. Immediate, evidence-based and expert driven feedback is provided.

Personalized transcripts provide each learner with a record of learning completed.

Reporting features allow faculty and administrators to assess learner participation and progress.
